We had an ok view from our room. Here's looking to the west with a lot of the buildings along 610.

We got there earlier than we expected on Friday and didn't really know what to do, so we decided to walk around downtown a little bit. Downtown Houston seemed a lot nicer, cleaner, and safer than downtown Dallas.

The buildings in downtown Houston are pretty tall. Here are some buildings, with some fountains in the foreground.

The next day we went to eat at a pretty neat place called Hobbit Cafe, with interesting food named after various characters from Tolkien novels.

After that, we went to the Astros game. It was a pretty entertaining game, at least for a couple innings, which had like a total of 9 runs.

The next day we went to the Downtown Aquarium, which was ok. Here's a picture from the white tiger exhibit.
